Company “Les passagers”
Actors suspended in mid-air
Aerial dancers suspended beneath the vaults of St. Elizabeth’s Church engage in a poetic, delicate dialogue between a couple, Christoph and Margaret.
Created in 1988 by director Philippe Riou and actress Christine Bernard, the company ‘Les Passagers’ has participated in more than 6,500 shows on five continents. They create a surprising poetic universe with the opening of a vertical world that gives rise to various forms of aerial performances…
The Ventil’oh Company
The poetry of luminous kites
Their luminous kites cut through the air majestically, evoking the flight of the legendary Basilisk.
Since 2003, the artists of the Ventil’Oh Company have been juggling with the lightness of forms, accompanying their aerial characters in the spaces of an unexplored stage, at the mercy of non-existent winds.
Artists/Performers: Mikaël and Simon Azé-Schiro
Cie “Les échassiers”
The clock adjuster
A whimsical stilt walker who guides the audience through the key moments of the show.
Marie-Jo Gébel

With an international career behind her, she remains deeply inspired by her native region, Alsace. For last summer’s Souffle de l’Ill show in Mulhouse, she created costumes that were praised by the press for their originality and beauty.
She has created a dozen completely original costumes for ‘The Forgotten Legend of Basel’.
